In the present-day environment of newspapering, we're always looking for more ads - but we didn't omit Sudoku to make room for any. One of the unhappiest campers went so far as to accuse us of eliminating Sudoku so we could put in more "money-grubbing ads." Many callers, understandably, worried that we'd dropped it from the paper. We learned that the hard way yesterday, when we inadvertently omitted the daily puzzle from Life & Arts.
